I have tears rolling down my cheeks watching Vyjayanthimala act and dance
like a dream. Possibly Sangam wouldn’t be what it is today if not for her
graceful portrayal of a woman who has been victim to some of life’s
mischievous plays. Rarely do you see a story being narrated from a woman’s
perspective with such great respect for her feelings. Though not a Raj
Kapoor fan, my respects to his spirited filmmaking here. ?
